Optimizing Health

Prolozone "bone on bone" knee problem.

I had no idea they could provide the relief and improvement that I have experienced after 5 months of injections. My progress has been amazing and at this point I really don't think I will need  knee replacement surgery anytime in the near future. Each injection has continued to improve my comfort and my everyday performance and things that I can do. I'm even back on the softball field. If I had to put a number on it I would say my improvement level is now at 50%--that is incredible!! -Jim  Florman

Dr. Holcomb has listened to my questions and explained what should be done. He reminds me of doctors years ago who would listen and discuss the patient's concerns without being tied to the allotted time that was scheduled for each patient's appointment according to the insurance companies time frame.

I have grown and my confidence in Dr. Holcomb and would recommend him to those individuals whom he can help. If the concern is out of his area of expertise, he is quick to say so and recommend another doctor.

Prolozone 'Putting off' ankle replacement

Before I left after my first injection, I scheduled my 2nd injection for two weeks later. When I came back for my 2nd injection I could already tell that my ankle was improving. I could walk farther with more stability and with less pain. My ankle continued to strengthen and after 3 or 4 injections I was walking up to 3 miles a day or more with little difficulty and a low pain level. Carol Retired

Stressed Out post-pardum Mama

When I was 34 years old my husband and I found out that we were expecting twins. We were both nervous and eventually became excited. The pregnancy went pretty smooth until I was 32 weeks along. I went to the doctor and found out that I had dilated to 4 cm. I was rushed to the high risk unit in St. George where I stayed for 2 weeks while dilated at 7 cm. The twins came at week 34. They were good size but I had to have one vaginally and one c-section. The babies had to stay in the NICU for one and a half weeks and then came home on oxygen and heart monitors. My c-section was very difficult to recover from because I couldn't give my body the proper rest it needed to recover. It was up every 3 hours for an hour changing diapers and feeding. I began to feel very overwhelmed, anxious and depressed. I wasn't getting the sleep I needed or eating a proper diet. I was on Prozac and did not feel like it was working. I kept having the “run away” feeling.  So I went back to my doctor and he upped my dose of Prozac and then again later wanted to add Wellbutrin. I started these medications and still just wasn't feeling myself. My neighbor, Dr. Holcomb's wife, came over and suggested that maybe I was low on vitamins and to come get vitamins through an IV. So I did 3 rounds of vitamins and did feel some more energy so I called Dr. Holcomb to let him know. He then brought over some herbal drops to put in my water and drink during my roughest times during the day which were usually at 11am and 5pm  I noticed a difference of peace after just one day. I called to let him know this is working was very happy to finally feel normal again I was able to physically, mentally and emotionally take care of my family again. Thanks Dr. Holcomb!

Bluestone Natural Medicine

is a holistic facility that focuses on analyzing your symptoms, labs, previous health history, and imaging in order to determine health quality and status. Then working together setting health goals and working towards optimal health.

Using Modern Technology to Harness your Body's Biochemistry.

Utilizing a variety of standard and specialty laboratory testing as well as standard imaging, we are able to see not just if your results are "normal" but we are more interested in "optimal" ranges! For instance, TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) has a huge "normal" range from 0.27 - 4.2. Many people are told that their Thyroid is "normal" yet they have many hypothyroid symptoms including a constantly low body temperature. Optimal range for TSH is 0.27 - 2.0. This is just one example of how we look at labs differently and thus treat for optimal health.

Chronic Fatigue, Hypothyroid, Hashimoto's

It is never just Thyroid or Adrenal Fatigue

There is a compound relationship between the Brain, Adrenals and the Thyroid.

We explore this relationship between the glands and the brain.
